It took long time,
actually few years, for Rahul to recover
from the consequences for falling in love with Tina, though actual consequences
he faced after the break up but I have always believed those happened coz he
fallen in love with Tina…that’s the root.
Actually the phase
he faced can be called PTSD(Post Traumatic Stress disorder) for the incidents
took place, that’s a different story and except me he has not shared those with
anyone.
After that phase,
one day evening when we were spending time in Arpan’s house, to be specific in
Arpan’s rehearsal room and I was sharing a real life love story that ended
through a funny incident then suddenly Arpan asked Rahul
…Did you even feel
to take revenge on Tina?
I was irritated
with such question, why unnecessarily raising this issue??? Long years have
passed but to my utter surprise Rahul replied with a smile
…No never, it’s
true that I was angry on her, I used to be irritated whenever memories used to
haunt but never ever any thought has knocked into mind.
We all remained
silent for a while, we both were finding it tough what to reply, I don’t know
what Arpan was thinking but I wanted to avoid this discussion, I was trying my
level best to sort out something to divert the issue but suddenly Rahul started
again
…But yes, one
thought knocked into my mind
Arpan asked being
highly curious
…what’s that?
…you know those
days visiting the restaurant with the beloved was not in the trend with so much
intensity, especially in our town, so naturally we never visited any restaurant
together but one day it happened that I
invited Tina in our house for the lunch, that day we prepared some sumptuous
foods for her…
Saying this he
stopped for a while, Arpan asked
…Then what?
…After few years of
break up I felt to meet her and ask for Rs 70
Arpan exclaimed
…what!!!!
…yes, Rupees 70, I
think this will be enough for the foods we prepared for her, I excluded the
boiled rice and daal.
I was not surprised
with the answer neither I laughed out, Arpan was laughing rolling over the floor
and repeatedly saying “Rs 70”, Rahul was also smiling and I was lost in my
thoughts…may be this what a loving heart contains, even Rahul also knows it
full well that if he asks for the money from Tina then she will also laugh a
lot, the outcomes of a loving heart always has the intention to bring smile in
the face of his/her beloved.
That was the day
for the first time Rahul made any joke on his love story and I felt much
relaxed with the thought that he is much well now.
