Mohabbat

"Mohabbat bhi Zindagi ki tarah hoti hai
Har mod asaan nehi hota, har mod pe khushiya nehi milti.
Jab hum zindagi ka saath nehi chhodte toh
Mohabbat ka saath kyun chhode??

Indian Movies...My Views Part 2

In my previous post I have shared my views about Indian movies those I thought are the drawbacks which can be easily noticed, for the details you can click here…Indian Movies...My Views Part 1

Now here I will share some more viewpoints…

By the way, I know you all are well acquainted with the movie The Matrix(First part released in the year 1999), for the first time viewers it will appear like the movie talks only about the fight between human race and the computer world but if you watch it with more concentration you will realize that though it has been presented as a long term fight with the computer world but it has some deeper messages also, It talks about “Reality”…in the first part, when Morpheus was trying to make Neo understand between the “Reality” And “Illusion”, he defines what reality is, he make him understand with different activities and most importantly he make clear that mental power is the key to survive, if someone looses it he will die immediately.

Don’t you think it has so much similarity with Indian philosophy (Spirituality), especially what is written in Srimad Bhagavad Gita? “Maya” that is illusion, ok, to understand it deeply you must watch the movie and also have to read entire Gita, here I would like to share that at the end of the third Part that is in “The Matrix Revolutions” the music played contains the sloka

असतो मा सद्गमय
तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय
मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय ”.

And also contains “Om Shanti Shanti Om” , watch the video below...

So what I think is, The Matrix is a technological formation and presentation taking out one of the gist from Gita.

Unfortunately, such a beautiful, creative and intellectual presentation with the morals of our philosophy(Spirituality) has not been seen in any Indian film(Specially in Bollywood).

Indian films lack that level of creativity which Hollywood has attained two decades earlier, they have that level of creative minds those can not only bring out the gist form our Philosophy rather they can present it in technological version.

When it’s about Creativity I think Bollywood is far behind than any other industries of India…that same old pattern they are following, a hero, a heroine and a villain. Bollywood is making crime, thriller and suspense movies but most of them are either too much predictable or not so much charming.

In this issue, I must mention, the Tollywood(Kolkata) and the South Indian movies have improved a lot, even with the same pattern …a hero, a heroine and a villain they are making creative and intellectual story line, after watching the movie you have to praise their creativity and research work.

Tollywood(Kolkata) is also showing their creativity making intellectual movies, though the number of such movies is not compatible with South Indian ones but far better than Bollywood.

When creativity is not there so you should not expect much from Bollwyood movies, when it’s about VfX, Special effects and animations the south Indian movies is at the top of the list, they have proved their capability and creativity making the movies like Magadheera, Bahubali, Kochadaiyaan, they have progressed a lot, when Hollywood is making films like Avengers , which not only contains extraordinary story rather mind-blowing Vfx, Special effects and Animations also ,the south Indians are also keeping state with them, but forget about Bollywood and Tollywood.

Research work is much needed to make a movie with wonderful concept, Hollywood is doing it from last two decades and from past few years South Indian Film industries are also doing it, even if you just focus on Indian Philosophy and Mythology and make a good research then it’s nothing tough to make the movies like X-Men. Once in my post I had shared my views about X-Men characters, you can read it here...

I must mention here that Bollywood now a days making content movies, which are based on real life incidents and this is an awesome work they are doing.

Upgradation is  much needed with time, Hollywood has updated themselves a lot so also the South Indian Film industry, Tollywood is also trying their level best(as I can guess) but Bollywood has remained in that same position.

The irony is…we, the Indians have spent/spending times being wondered seeing the USA(their progress, well decorated and designed cities and different places, their different creations) so also their movies…God Knows, when we will be able to compete with them…in every field or we will spend doing the same for next one decade….

Indian Movies...My Views Part 1

Indian movies…don’t mind, but when I feel to watch any such I suffer from depression but still I watch when I don’t have any option when I feel bored and need to relax and at the end most of movies don’t make me relaxed rather creates an irritation in my mind.

I have an old habit of enriching my knowledge about the lead characters whenever I watch any movie, this habit has helped me to point out some reasons why Indian movies not getting huge success in international field.

By the way, do you know how many Indian movies have won Oscars? The answer is…not a single one and the question is why?
So, let me share some loopholes for the “non-progressive” Indian movies…

Talent…

Talent is neither recognized nor respected in any film Industry of India, as I have mentioned above, I try my level best to enrich my knowledge about the lead characters whenever I watch any movie and this habit has given me a shock. In one decade, why one!!! rather in last two decades hardly any hero have come in the market who does not belong to film fraternity, recently while watching a certain movie I felt…who have made him Hero!!!!!!, poor acting, non-charming looks and appearance of the hero forced me to think so, so when I read about him you can guess what I came to know.

The funny part of this was…his performance is not only poor rather his eyes (how he looks) is actually very funny..He always looks at things with wide open eyes..I felt like, he is in a shock always.
So, most of the contemporary heroes, actually all, have strong and potential “filmy background”, either they are the sons or nephews of famous actors or directors or producers…

In this issue I must mention that Tollywood(Kolkata) film industry is doing much fairer selection than other industries, giving chance to really talented ones

130 Cr आबादीवाले देश मे एक भी ऐसा इनसान नही जो एक ऐसा फिल्म बनाके Oscar ला सके ...ये  थोड़ी आजीब नही है ?????

So, the question is …only the relatives of the actors know what is acting and rests of the Indians know nothing, there is not a single talented actor among 130cr of Indians? Where are they? What are they doing from past two three decades?

I don’t wanna mean that each and every contemporary actor(Actress) who is entering in this Industry is worst, some of them are really talented, some are good but if the lead characters are selected through talent hunt then this good ones can be replaced with the better or best ones.

Six packs and Dance

I am fade up after making some heroes understand ( if I could then it would surely happen) that when you are in the field of acting you should focus on “Acting”, acting actually does not need six packs or dance, it has happened earlier and still happening that few heroes are appearing with extraordinary dancing capability, with six packs abs and lots of stunts, earlier such actors have faced tremendous downfall in the carrier and the present ones will face the same, if acting needs expertise in dancing and six pack abs then the actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Nana Patekar, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar,Rajini kanth, Kamal Hassan could not be so much successful in this field because they are neither trained dancers nor they came with Six packs.

Looks

Some heroes are so much handsome and cute those are beyond description but when I watched some of their movies I immediately realized that he is gonna fade away from this field very soon and it has happened, in last five years hardly any of their films have released.

Such heroes get huge popularity In short time just after their appearance for the only reason is their cute looks for which the girls become their crazy fans but how many such fans you have does not matter for the carrier.

I don’t wanna mean that I have extraordinary capability or expertise in acting but unfortunately (fortunately) my prophecies about the carriers of lots of heroes have always been right; there are two reasons behind it…

First of all, I do a small research and apply my common sense after watching any movie

The second reason is more vital, that is…once, just like other teen-age boys I also had a dream to act in movies…as hero, you know. Even some people also suggested me to make a try. Later when my sister got featured in a popular Bengali channel as a singer that time a producer cum director offered me a role in a Bengali Mega serial, we rejected it(Including me) to continue my study.

Later, in the year 2017, all on a sudden I took part in a drama(Folk Theater) arranged by The Durga Puja committee members of our colony, why did I take part…for the only reason to go through a test to verify what I have realized about myself is right or wrong, before this I have never taken part in any drama or theater but surprisingly I got huge appreciations from the audience for my performance, I got so much praises those are beyond description but yet I felt that what I had realized earlier is not wrong…I don’t have the capability to be a hero, always looks and six packs does not play factors rather it needs some “X” factor to be a hero(Successful), yes, you can learn acting. May be you can have immense interest in it but still you can fail for not having that “X” factor, I can’t exactly explain what that “X” Factor is, it can vary from man to man (woman to woman) but for me my extreme introvert nature is responsible, I am not so expressive(here I must inform, am thankful to those people who still love me a lot),  a clash will always continue to happen if i perform as an actor, a clash where my nature will not allow me to be expressive whole heartily.

I had spent long time to analyze this and finally I realized it deeply (more than a six years earlier) that acting as a lead character in any commercial movie in not my cup of tea.

In my next post I will discuss some other dimensions of Indian movies.

Blog To Hon'ble Prime Minister : For a Noiseless Society

This post has not intended to hurt any religion or any such belief; it’s all about humanity and common sense. If you are dogmatic about any religion then please avoid reading it.

In last one and half year I had to visit some places very frequently for some works, what I have experienced while staying there was not only surprising rather shocking also and the experiences in the same issue in my home town have worked as positive catalyst finally making me stunned thinking about what’s going on in the society.

Let me start my experience in one such place (others are nothing less than this one)

That time I stayed in that place for consecutive four days and I cursed my fate for such a situation I was facing…

It was the time for certain religious festival, though the actual “worship day” was tomorrow but they started playing songs in loudspeakers in a very high volume from the day before the particular day, from early morning  from around 6 AM they were playing songs and was switching off the loudspeakers around 11:30pm, it was being really tough to concentrate in work, the house where I was staying is around 200 ft away from the religious place but as I checked that  it was clearly audible to the area of 500 ft of diameter. The first and foremost thought that knocked into my mind is …what about the students in this 500ft of diameter?

I felt like those so called worshipper are saying through their work…
We will play songs in such loud volume and you have to tolerate it, we really don’t care whether it’s creating problem in your life or not.
For consecutive three days they continued this activity creating heavy sound pollution.

Now coming to the marriage related issues

During the marriage season its nothing uncommon to experience that the loudspeakers are played in very high volume specially when the marriages are taking place in the houses (not in the banquet halls) if it’s the marriage of many male gender then you have to bear this loud sound for consecutive four days…they start playing songs before the day of the marriage and stops it after the reception party which takes place(generally) after a one day gap of the marriage day.

I never have found any logic of doing this; it’s like…if for their personal enjoyment and celebration the people around gets tortured then it does not matter for them. Why don’t they simply understand that celebration is taken place in their house then why we will waste our days, we are not bound to join them?

During the marriage of my younger maternal uncle none of our family members and relatives (Including me) supported the playing of songs in loud speakers in high volume for three-four days, yes, we played songs from the time 11AM-1Pm and 5Pm-7Pm, these are the times when people actually are not busy in serious jobs like study, meeting or in office and also we did not allowed the decibel to cross 100.
Now comes the so called “Miking” where some shop owners, the institutions and some sellers hire a vehicle like Auto, Toto or Taxi for the marketing and promotion purpose where a mike is played in a loud volume announcing the latest offers and facilities and it roams in the entire town/city.

In the clash of two religions the sufferers are always the general human beings, this is what happening in a certain place where few months back a certain group of people from a certain religion forced the other ones to leave their houses (50 families almost) and did not allow them to enter for three consecutive days…administration acted like deaf and dumb at that time….

Now, the people of other religion have united and taking revenge on them…playing religious songs in four different places during the morning and in the evening for almost one hour…

It was the fight of two religions and the sufferers are the common people, even if I ignore the people who are struggling for their day to day meal, who have their own tensions and stress related to lots of issues of  life but I can’t ignore the condition of the students who are the future of our country, the morning time and the evening time these are vital times for study and for the fight of religions they have to cope up with the situation and have to remain silent because if they raise their voices it will be “Anti religion” activity but I doubt whether they have the courage of raising their voices  !!!!! Because they themselves will think that raising voice means they are going against God.

I am not against the celebration of religious festivals but when the celebration is being torturing for others then it must be avoided and should be stooped.

On the other hand playing the movie songs (specially the Hindi and Bhojpuri) during religious celebration has any connection with religion or spirituality?

Let me share the strangest fact…it’s a statistics of last ten years of my field research…

Saraswati Puja is celebrated in Bengal with pomp and grandeur; it’s the second religious festival of the Hindus according to the grandness of celebration, this Puja actually an one day activity, the schools, colleges and the clubs celebrate it for two days coz they arrange various types of cultural activities and exhibitions and this is how the really educated ones complete this Puja but do you know who celebrate this Puja for three-five days? So far my statistics is revealing…the uneducated ones, who don’t have any connection with any educational institute celebrate it for three-five days, playing songs in high volume, spending some fun days in the pandals, neither they arrange any cultural activity nor any exhibition, even if you see their puja places you will be too much surprised…a small pandal for the goddess and another small pandal for their stay but the boxes are big in size so that they can enjoy their days with movie songs.

Can anyone explain what the relation between playing songs during religious festival in high volume with spirituality?????

These so called selfish people (who are playing loudspeakers for three four days making the excuse of celebration whatever it is) have lost their minds to even understand that how much problem they are creating for the students to the lives of other people also, this students are the future of our country and hampering their study these selfish people actually hampering the future of our country.

I neither am against any religion nor want I mean that any religious festival should not be celebrated but if it reflects inhumanity and causes problem to the daily lives of others then it cannot be supported.

True religion is that which helps us to broaden our minds and thoughts, makes us able to think about others, to be helpful to others and to serve for others but in real life the scenario is totally different.

I really wonder administration is doing what!

What I have realized is…if you have a vacant mind, no philosophy about life (When mind is vacant so naturally you possess no philosophy), not much educated, want to earn easily and lazily and a song lover also, then make a religious place…it will fulfill all your desires covering your loopholes, Religion now a day’s is one of the most profitable businesses and help people to dominate (Dadagiri) on others.

During the traditional and popular festivals like Durga Puja,Eid etc the loudspeakers should be allowed but with a certain time limit.

Now a days, playing loudspeakers has become a craze, in small and smallest festivals people are playing loudspeakers for three four days.
Now let me share some sound effects with the amount of intensity…

Normal conversation…60dB
Vacuum cleaner…75 dB
Sports crowd…120-130dB
Tractor…90dB

Now try to calculate how far a sports crowd is audible and its intensity also, do the same for the vacuum cleaner and you will realize the average decibel of sound the loudspeakers are exerting which can be audible from 500-700 ft of distance, I think the average is ---200-300dB.

In the pictures below i have shared what is written in the law...

I wanna make earnest request to our Honorable PM to take serious actions against such noise pollution irrespective of religions and make the society much better for the common people to live with mental peace.

P.S. in the beginning I decided the title of this post “Indians against India”, but later changed it keeping in mind that all Indians are not against India, they are not performing any such job that can be harmful for the future of our country.
