Mohabbat

"Mohabbat bhi Zindagi ki tarah hoti hai
Har mod asaan nehi hota, har mod pe khushiya nehi milti.
Jab hum zindagi ka saath nehi chhodte toh
Mohabbat ka saath kyun chhode??

Promise Broken...Half Fiction #BlogchatterA2Z

Exams were knocking at the door, after a long time study I needed a break, it was 10:30am in the clock, taking out my cycle I went to roam in the town here and there, after a while I reached the “agricultural garden”, actually its situated in  the middle of the agriculture office and the housing complex of the same, the area is vast and so the garden covers a big region there, I went inside and was about to sit under a tree, there were so many tress that I can’t explain, of every size, different structure and categories, suddenly I listened a chaos, following the sound I stepped towards that and what I found was really a surprising one, two boys lying the ground were screaming out of pain, two others were somehow managing energy to save Raju(I mentioned about him in my post “justified”) but getting two powerful kicks they fallen down in the ground and was unable to rise again and what about Raju? He was flying in the sky, I mean holding Raju in two hand Rahul lifted him in the upside and was about to throw, somehow I made him calm… “don’t do that, leave him , leave him, Rahul please don’t do that, pls listen to me”. Thankfully he listened to me and did not throw Raju.

When we were making our exit from that place they were still managing to get up.

Why did you beat them so badly…I asked in a calm tone.

…You know, nine months back, one day afternoon I was heading towards the meeting place suddenly Raju and his boys appeared in my way, threatened me holding my collar and went way, I could teach them a good lesson that time but I did not want to waste time spending with them, so making no protest I went to meet Tina, spent time with her and informed about the incident, after spending time together when we were returning home and she was about to leave then keeping her left palm upon my right chick…

Rahul’s voice was chocked, he stopped for a while and somehow controlling his emotion he continued

…I mean, she said “promise me, you will not mess up with them, I know you can teach them good lesson but don’t do that, promise me you will not involve yourself in this matter” I promised her that’s why without visiting Raju and his gang that day evening I returned back to home, now when Tina is not with me so there is no question of keeping that promise.

This incident took place after seven moths of their break up.

After two years of this incident Raju and his boys teased a girl for a while when she was heading towards the market, in the beginning the girl ignored it but after a while when she felt irritated she called her cousin brother and when he appeared there Raju started beginning pardon saying “believe me Rahul we did not know she is your sister” but Rahul did not listen to them and again beat them on the spot.

Tina never came to know about the incident that took place in the agriculture garden and it’s the only promise Rahul has broken till now.

  1. Raju deserves this kind of beating. I am glad Rahul took a stand about not sparing him. Waiting to know what happens next.

    1. Who else can support the act of Rahul better than the girls, who have to face the boys like Raju now and then in the streets...

  5. I’m not one to support violence but in some cases it’s well-deserved. Waiting for the next chapter!
